Needoh Epidemic (GT)

I know I recently talked about the takeover of quarter zips and matcha at my high school

…but we have a new, bigger problem.

NEEDOH.

I'll admit it, I've been trying to get my hands on one of these fascinating little squishy balls of goop and glitter.

But at the same time, where did this craze come from?!

I swear one day nobody had one.

And then suddenly?

Everyone, in every class, has one.

But the funny thing about Needohs is that they provide a perfect example of how quickly a product can gain popularity overnight and be spread globally in just days.

Because let's be honest, a squishy ball isn't exactly a revolutionary invention.

But the second you see someone else squeezing one, you want to try it.

Then you try it, then you’re hooked. (Speaking from experience)

Ah yes, the Needoh economy.

Also, something about the product itself that makes it incredibly TikTok-friendly:

It’s weird. Satisfying to watch, satisfying to touch.

And most importantly for the market, you don't need a five-minute explanation to understand why someone likes it. Just squeeze!

And maybe, just maybe, there's actually a reason everyone at school suddenly needs one.

Between homework, sports, extracurriculars, the SAT’s, social life, and approximately 3 IB tests a day, I can understand why a tiny ball of squishy goo might be therapeutic.

Needohs are taking over my school, and that could prove to be beneficial.

Either way, I’m still on the hunt for my own.
