In August of 2025, GAP had the internet buzzing after launching one of the most successful diversity campaigns of the year with the global girl group, KATSEYE. GAP transformed just another brand collaboration into a huge cultural moment, connecting identity with fashion and music in a way that felt authentic.
Partnering with KATSEYE, a multicultural group built on an international fanbase, symbolized GAP’s intentional shift to more authentic representation. Instead of being merely for visuals, the diversity within the ad celebrated individuality, self-expression, and inclusivity, aligning perfectly with GAP’s evolving brand narrative.
Naturally, the video was a social media hit. Across all platforms, fans not only reposted the ad, but also engaged heavily in conversation surrounding the bigger-picture message within the visuals. Young, diverse voices amplified how much it meant to finally see themselves represented in a major fashion campaign. The GAP x KATSEYE collaboration is now a common case study in modern brand storytelling, because it redefined what inclusive marketing looks like in today’s age.
